I Kissed A Boy by Boy Interrupted - Max and Mike
I think this music video is very successful as it follows many conventions but still has original ideas. The black and white effect that is used but I think what made it interesting is that at particular points in the song it went back to colour for about half a second which was effective. The black and white theme works really well with the shadows created from the harsh lighting. The cinematography throughout was successful as the framing of each shot looks well thought out and arranged. Although most of the shots was just the main boys face it was still interesting as it cut from different distances and angles. The movement of the camera and the times or cuts was also well thought out as it linked to the song.
Even though I think it was very well made looked professional I think it could have been easily improves with a change of location from that one white room and changing of costumes.
