Above is an advert design I created using Photoshop. I decided to use a close up of our artist face however she is looking away and down from the camera which creates a sense that she is hiding something and is passionate about her music which are conventions of our chosen genre. To show the artist's name and name of the song/CD I used the font called 'Blake'. 'Blake' is our chosen font for all our promotional products which links them all together. On the bottom of the advert is the relevant information including the record companies logo, release date and website.
WWW: I believe for a first draft it is successful as an advert. It shows all the needed information and a portrays and clear image.
EBI: I think I could improve it by using more technical skills on Photoshop to make it look more professional. I also think the publicity photo could be improved through planning and linking it to other aspects of the advert like the track name.
